June Partner of the Month

Parkinson Support Center of Northern Nevada (PSCNN) is dedicated to ensuring that no one has to face Parkinson’s disease alone. Serving more than 5,000 individuals and families across Northern Nevada, PSCNN provides vital support services, educational programs, and advocacy for those navigating Parkinson’s—one of the fastest-growing neurological diseases in the world.

Founded in 2021, PSCNN has grown rapidly to meet urgent community need. Through monthly hybrid education programs, community support groups in Reno, Carson City, Minden, and Fallon—with expansion into Winnemucca and Elko—care partner resources including the innovative Men’s Caregiver Community Group, and personalized resource navigation, PSCNN connects people with the tools, knowledge, and community they need to live well with Parkinson’s. In 2025 alone, community inquiries increased by 640%, demonstrating the critical need for specialized Parkinson’s support in our region.

The Nell J. Redfield Foundation has been an essential partner in PSCNN’s growth and impact. Redfield’s generous support enabled PSCNN to hire its first full-time Director, significantly expanding our capacity to serve individuals and families across Northern Nevada with the specialized Parkinson’s support they need.
