PARTNER OF THE MONTH
The Reno Phil is the largest nonprofit performing arts organization in Nevada, engaging with almost 50,000 individuals annually through our concerts and outreach initiatives. Committed to delivering inspirational symphonic performances of the highest quality and providing meaningful educational engagement programs, the Reno Phil is currently in our 57th season of programming.
Each season, the Reno Phil’s professional orchestra, youth ensembles, and education programs present more than 70 concerts throughout Northern Nevada and the surrounding rural communities. Beyond live orchestral performances, the Reno Phil prioritizes music education, serving over 20,000 students from kindergarten through high school each year. The Reno Phil’s five core education programs—Discover Music, Family Concert, RPA Kids, four Youth Orchestras, and the Young People’s Concerts—provide meaningful access to symphonic music, with a focus on supporting students from under-resourced communities.
Through these artistic and educational efforts, the Reno Phil creates lasting impact across the region, enriching the cultural and educational landscape of Northern Nevada.
The Reno Phil is incredibly grateful to the Nell J. Redfield Foundation for its unwavering commitment to education. The Redfield Foundation’s continued support has helped thousands of children in the Northern Nevada community learn about the transformative power of music. As a major contributor to the RPA Kids program in particular, the Redfield Foundation has helped many Title 1 students engage in free afterschool music education, equipping them with valuable skills that echo far beyond the classroom.
