Community Health Alliance
Community Health Alliance, a federally qualified health center and a 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to creating healthy outcomes for patients of every income.
Their mission is to fulfill our community’s need for quality, respectful, and dignified healthcare. They operate six health centers and three mobile medical and dental units in Washoe County, providing comprehensive medical services to over 28,000 patients. Their services include primary and pediatric care, dental care, behavioral health services, low-cost pharmacies, nutritious food pantries, and more. They are also the largest Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Washoe County.
Community Health Alliance invites our community to help raise awareness of their one-stop healthcare model that has been instrumental in improving the health outcomes of thousands of patients. Additionally, Community Health Alliance invites you to make a one-time or monthly donation to support their Healthy Children’s Fund, which specifically supports pediatric wellness check-ups, immunizations, dental care, and behavioral health visits.
The Nell J. Redfield Foundation has been a long-time partner of Community Health Alliance. We continue to work towards addressing healthcare disparities in underserved communities, with a focus on capital improvements to increase access to quality healthcare.
